Summary

Balancing drawers and running a loan program on a daily basis
Computer and typewriter keyboard proficiency
Organization and filing skills
Excellent telephone and person-to-person communication skills
Ability to quickly learn new computer programs
Working knowledge of collection laws and procedures
Office machine proficiency (including faxes, printers, copiers, 10-key calculators, computers)

Perform the following daily operations of A-1 Cash Advance:

Answer telephone and provide excellent customer service
Explain the loan program to new and current customers
Provide excellent customer service to every customer adhering to established company policies and procedures.
Performs employment, checking account and bankruptcy verifications
Make loans, receive collections and payments on accounts
Verify account balances at banks, handwalk for collection
Assist in organizing and posting bad debt
Make collection calls to past due accounts
Make Courtesy calls to customers before due date
Assist Store Manager in counting cash and balancing drawers to Loan Program
Verify information on all checks received by check cashers
Verify daily check bundles to deposit reports
Copy, number and file daily checks
Cleans and organizes all work and common areas
Refer customer complaints to Store Manager, if necessary
Report problems and/or discrepancies with customers, RBS computers or banks to Store Manager
Assist Store Manager with maintaining all loan records and data
Perform and adhere to Managers responsibilities in their absence
Other duties as assigned

1+ years in Customer Service. Prior experience a plus.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Sit and stand sometimes equal amounts of 8+ hour day, no lifting over 10 lbs.
